My recently published article 'Upgrade Your Lathe' listed John Jordan as the USA rep and primary contact for the Stubby lathe.

Bill Rubenstein is actually the exclusive North American distributor of the Omega Stubby lathes. He sells the lathes directly and through authorized distributors, including John Jordan Woodturning, Nashville, and Rich Johnson's Woodturning Center, San Jose.

Bill's website is: www.stubbylatheusa.com and his email address is bill@stubbylatheusa.com.

I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

When I win the lottery I will buy one from John. Actually if I win the lottery I may buy one of each brand and then decide which features I really like and have one custom built to my specs. As near as I can tell each lathe I have turned on has a feature I really like and a feature that I think could be changed.

That would be a review, now wouldn't it. 🙂

John

Of course it does, John, in your color preference as well! But do you want a Porche, or a Porsche. 🙂 The first one would look good on the front of your house. 😉 Now where did that ticket get to....😀

Kurt shows you how close I'll ever get to a porsche. Riding with Jamie Donaldson is as close as I'll get but I'll look mighty good in it as we drive to Hartford.

Jamie is coming to our club in February. I'll have to wait until then to tell you how good you'll look in that Porsche riding with him... But in the meantime, let's hope I win that lottery! For both our sakes!
