Here is my submission for the American Association of Woodturners upcoming exhibition "Rising". My submisison is called "A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats". The turned and hand carved wooden boat is filled with some of my wood turned wooden balls. The boat and balls float on a body of water made from very curly maple that has been shaped and dyed with multiple coats of blues and greens. C&C welcomed

Dick,
A nice composition with contrasting forms and surfaces. I like the turnings the owner can arrange.

I like the second photo best. The angle and lighting make two bowls look as it they are rolling off with a 3 rd about to join them.
thanks for letting me have a peek!

Al
