a place to put the turned things

I got this from outside in the courtyard. It had been hanging outside in the weather for, ohh I don't know, maybe 70 years before I dragged it in and set it here.
I wanted a nice show case for turned things.

It is made from a norway maple I cut down and turned into lumber.
That's a toe kick forced hor water heater (on its own zone) in the base & it REALLY makes a difference in the huge room.
I have a plans for another piece of shelves that will sit on top of that piece and go up near the ceiling with crown molding flaring out

This is that platter I was talking about a while back that I accidentally knocked a hole into the center while thinning.

Couple of little bowls that one could hold in one hand that turned out to be really warped but I finished 'em anyway
