Center Coring of wet Osage Orange. Turned thin (1/8"), and microwaved for 90 sec. Got a very warped bowl but cracked in many places and quite disapointed. After sitting for a few days I decided to woodburn all of the cracks and find quite pleasing

Images of cranes were stuck in my mind after watching so many pre-Olympic games programs. And the games themselves, with all those little "side trips" firmly embedded the image like a pop tune that just won't go away. SO I just had to turn this and decorate it to get it out.
