    Birdseye maple, bloodwood and tulipwood glued as an oblong block then turned without chopping fingers (can happen, does happen oooch) This one is just over 7 inches by 2 and 1/4 wide and 2 and 3/4 high. 1/8 thin all over. Comments as with all my turnings always welcome

    Tulipwood and Blackwood Vessel

    Tulipwood and Blackwood. 6-1/2" x 4-3/4". Sanded to 800, buffed, and finished with Seal-A-Cell. The seven elements were turned individually and then assembled. Tenons reinforce the joints. The cross was carved from a turned bead and textured to give it a rough 'timber' look.
