The bark inclusions on these 2 cherry bowls fell out during the drying process. I chose not to fill the void with epoxy and wanted to try something different. So I drilled small holes along the sides and am planning on using a thin braided cord to stitch them up.

This is Ambrosia Maple 7" in diameter at the rim and 2" at the base. Bowl is 3" tall and has a nominal wall thickness of 3/8".
3 Walnut stitches are in the limb inclusions for strength and looks. Finish is 3 coats of Watco Danish Oil and a top coat of Waterlox Tung oil...
