Deviled Egg Salt and Pepper Shakers

Shakers made from maple. Holes for salt and pepper in the letters and hole for filling in the bottom sealed with a cork. Yolks are painted with thinned acrylic paint. Made for our local club gift exchange.
  2. Salt Shaker, & Peppermill

    Salt Shaker, & Peppermill

I glued up some diagonal cut pieces of Basswood, & Cypress. After turning, they have a spiral look.
  3. Cherries and Cream Candy...Dish

    Cherries and Cream Candy...Dish

Made of Salt Cedar Burl, with Pecan and Bloodwood for the stem and base. Measures 7"x4.5" and has a Tung Oil finish. It seems like I'm the first to post a Salt Cedar piece. If you are unfamiliar this stuff is an invasive species, extremely hardy and resistant to eredacation...
  4. Salt and Pepper Set

    Salt and Pepper Set

Salt shaker and pepper mill. Acaia burl salvaged from a discarded tree.
