This is an F# five holed native American flute made from Madrone root burl injected with blue dye. This flute plays and sounds well, besides being a fine piece of highly figured wood.

this is my latest piece, turned and carved from boxwood root burl. ~30*20*12cm (12*8*5inches) from spikes to spikes.
the spikes were carved in the original roots that came out of the burl ball.
the main body has been lightly sandblasted to increase the organic look.
