Matai Burl Bowl
Very old Matai burl. The tree was cut down about 90 years ago to plant pine trees!! If considered no good for building timber the trees were bulldozed into piles and burned. 60 years later the logs were salvaged and mostly cut up for firewood but some of the burls survived and were too hard to...- Robbie Graham
