I turned this spalted maple pot 4.75x4.5x3 from a chunk I found in the woodlot getting firewood. I had to turn it when I saw the spalting in the end and this is what resulted. The pot has a round bottom and squatted as it dried. The finish is several coats of Waterlox. I am starting to like...
This is a relatively large ash pot which measures 10 1/4 inches in diameter by 9 1/8 nches tall. Finished with water based polyurethane, but not yet buffed or waxed.
This is a silver maple pot measuring 8 1/4 inches in diameter by 9 inches in height. Antique Oil finish. The markings on the front remind me a bit of "The Scream" by Edvard Munch.
