    Black Oak, pyro'd, carved, and painted to mimic mosaic tile. Though, it might look a bit more like stained glass. In any case, this was a fun and time consuming project that gets me excited for the next version. Interior finished with hemp oil, exterior finished with satin lacquer. 7.25"d x 3.5"h.

    4" wide x 4" tall cherry form that has been textured inside and out with a Powercrafter, the grid burned with a pyrography pen and then the whole thing colored with Prismacolor markers. Truly, an exercise in patience....

    This is boxelder that has been enhanced with pyrography and prismacolor markers. It's 3x3. The black areas have been textured with a pyrography pen and colored black.

    3" wide x 4 1/4" tall - pattern burned with pyrography pen, black areas textured, piece colored with Prismacolor markers

    4" x 4"; black areas textured with pyrography pen - rim and base also textured but with different texture from that within the pattern
