    This piece has a snug fitting box type lid and is made from some curly box elder that finished up at 4 1/2" tall and 4" in diameter.

    The size is 6" dia x 9" tall and finished with Danish oil and buffed with white diamond and carnauba wax. I recall a cookie jar my mother had in the 50's which inspired me to make this piece. It brings back many good memories.
