    Cigar box named "little vegan sausage" is turned and then entirely carved in boxwood. The net, the label and the metallic-looking rings are sculpted and then covered with pigments. 260 mm in height and 5 cm in diameter. IPN base treated with hematite.

    Woven Basket Illusion

    My first basket illusion. This was a practice piece. I learned a lot about what does and doesn't work. Maple wood was beaded and then burned to create the basket weave pattern and colored with Prismacolor markers and a clear acrylic topcoat applied.
