I was working to turn a goblet or something to take to my chapter meeting. I noticed what was either a hairline crack or dark grain in a piece of cherry. I started turning and realized I didn't have my face shield on. In one minute or less, it was a crack and a piece about the size of a quarter...
Does anyone have specific recommendations on face shields and goggles that are sized to fit young turners? I have a couple face shields where the headband can adjust pretty small, but the shield is so big it is cumbersome for the kid to work around. This is for beginners, we won't be turning...
