I've been turning for a little over a year now and while I always use a face shield (Bionic face shield), I don't always use a respirator/dust mask. (For a long time, I sanded with the oil/wax mixture to keep dust at bay. I use my dust collector as well.)
Now that I'm changing up my sanding...
I've decided I need to get a powered face mask so I don't keep blowing tree trunks out of my nose and seriously messing up my lungs. I've tried out the Trend and Triton and neither seemed very comfortable.
The JSP powercap looks like a good possibility but I can find sites only in the UK...
