Yin Yang platter

This is something I've thought of trying several times and finally gave it a try. I'm not a woodworker and have only learned a few things along the way as a wood turner. So the joint in this is far from perfect. 11" x 2" from black walnut and white oak. A little different twist to the feather pattern I've done too many of.
Never too many of your feather pattern pieces!!! Not too fond of the base/holder - or whatever you call those things. Kind of distracting.
