Wood Ffolkkes - A Community

Still using the techniques gained from Laurent Niclot, these are a community of turned and carved works. The tips were carved and shaped with rasps. Patterns were pyro-carved followed by multiple coats of dry-brush painting with acrylic paint.

(Turning of the Week, July 19, 2021)

I call these Ffolkkes - A Community, drawing from our experiences. We have different moods, personalities, wardrobes, loves and hates. Nevertheless, we are created from the same core.
Very vibrant colors and beautiful textures. These are wonderful. Did you apply a finish over the acrylic? These beg to be touched.
