Winter Solstice - front

This is the second piece in a series I am trying out - there will be slight variations to the inked design & gilded elements. On this piece, I used Faber-Castel Phthalo Blue and Dark Sepia PITT artist pens, the front center and back circle areas are gilded with silver metal leaf. The bowl is turned from Hard Maple - it measures approximately 6.5" (diameter) x 2"(height).
