This 3-piece set was turned from a 30 diameter Red Oak log and took about a month to complete. I let each piece dry for a week before sandblasting with coarse grit and then finished with fine grit. Each piece was bleached 4 times and then pickled twice with latex primer and top coated twice with water based polyurethane. The sandblasted grooves are deeper then it appears in the photo.
