Walnut Vase

Walnut Vase

This is Walnut, 5.5 x 7.25 inches---14 cm x 18.5 cm
Carved vase in my recent motif.
I hope my forearm can keep up....the process is grueling comparatively. It`s a trip while carving.... ups, downs, uncertainty, fatigue and finally, meditative while sanding. I`m compelled to do it, then, "in process" i want to quit,..... then when done I want to start another.
I`ve been scheduled to demo for Front Range Woodturners Club in Denver next month, 1st Tues.......looking forward to sharing my observations for carving forms.
Oh Vinnie it's a wonderful carving. I like the "stopped spirals"..the ends are so well done. 3 thumbs up

Vinnie you're just getting too good at these, this is a very lovely piece indeed, I'm with Michelle on those spirals.
