Walnut Derby

Walnut Derby, size 12"x5" by about 1/16" thick. This was made to be worn. It was commissioned by a person who wanted it to wear while judging horse show jumping. The pedistal is made of Dawn Redwood for the body, Holly eyes with ebony inserts. Mouth is Mahogany dyed red. All comments and critiques always welcome.

I think the whimsical pedestal is as good as the Derby. Fantastic work.
