Walnut Calabash

This bowl is about 8" x 4".

Turned wet around the pith of a crotch, so there are 3 end-grain (pith) features in the side of the bowl.
Expecting it to crack around the pith, I set it aside to dry.
Once dry and the cracks had developed and stabilized, I patched them with Maple Pewa patches and Huini pegs.

Finished with walnut oil.
