Walnut Beauty

This was a request by a lady at our church. She had seen a pedestal bowl I made a few months ago, and really wanted me to make one for her.

This has limb pockets, swirling grain and knots all in the wood and required a lot of extra sanding and finish work to get it where I wanted the finish to be.......

It is 12' wide at the rim and 7" tall. The finish is shellac as a base coat and wipe on poly. It looks better in person than in the pics and has presence because of its size.
