    Looks great Odie! I have found it is hard to get a good finish on the dark woods. Like eliminating sanding lines and finish streaks.

    Nice piece Dave! And the wood is lovely-- the grain looks like a crashing wave and swirling water. I scavenge most of my wood and don't often know the species. And when I do know the species and label the raw wood and by the time it is finished the "chain of custody" is lost. It bothers me only...
