Untitled Wall Piece no. 2

This is the 2nd in a series of wall pieces I did for Dunn Gallery's "On the Wall" show starting Sept. 1st.

The turning is pretty straightforward but hopefully the texturing and ebonizing help give it some life. The end result is completely different from my initial idea. Really flying by the seat of my pants but that's what makes it fun. The top lifts of to reveal a small lower finial.
