Twisted, Segmented Trio

This trio of segmented, twisted vases range from four to six inches in height. Wood used includes maple, mahogany, walnut and paduak for rim accents. The twist is formed using multiple axes to match the angle of the segmented designs. These vases are representative of items to be made in the 'Twisted Segmented Design' class I'll be teaching the week of 6 to 12 October, 2019 at Arrowmont. Come join me and learn about twisted designs, segmented fabrication and how to combine the two into unique creations.
