Twisted Pear Vase
Brian Horais

Twisted Pear Vase

This 9-inch tall vase was turned from a block of Pear. The upper portion was turned-off center to create the three-sided twist and brim. Textured black rings were added to provide contrast with the beautiful wood. If you look closely you can see a glint from the 2-inch diameter glass liner insert that allows a user to keep live plants in the vase. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system
Brian.....You and Hughie are perfecting your styles.....both of you are getting more perfect with time.....that's the way to do it! ..... I understand the process, and what it means to personal growth. :)
