Twisted Cherry Bowl
Brian Horais

Twisted Cherry Bowl

This twisted bowl was made from a piece of cherry using a 3-point, off-axis turning method to create the pleasing twist. The cherry sapwood was highlighted at the top of the bowl, producing the pleasing interplay between the twisted surfaces and the grain patterns. Height is 5 inches and diameter is 6 inches. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system.
