Trilogy of Inspiration - #2

Second attempt at suspended forms.

Walnut, Spaulted Maple, and yard goods store vinyl. Pierced with wood burning. 11" x 5" dimensions. Again, I laminated walnut veneer between spaulted maple for the legs. Spray Lacquer with White Diamond and Carnuba buff.

The piece turned out OK except for the choice of vinyl. I think it would have looked better if I had used a cream colored material such as calf skin leather.

Comments and critique welcome as always.
Mike, If that is the AAW contest, both are much bigger than the 8"x8"x8" limits. Thank you very much for thinking my work is worthy of entering into a contest.
