Touch of Envy

Maple hollow form with curly Maple finial, 6 to top of finial x 5 diameter x close to 1/16 thick. Sanded to 6oo grit and lightly dyed with RIT Kelly green dye, it has many coats of gloss wipe-on poly and was given a coat of Renaissance wax to help give it that glass-like feel!

As always, your opinions, critiques and comments are appreciated!

Thanks for looking!
Hal - it was my intention to have the piece monochromatic - as much as possible. Although photos rarely capture curl - the finial comes alive when touched with light and that helps make the piece work. IMO.
