Torah Stand

This is used to hold a Torah when it is out of the ark but not being read. With the number 18 having special significance in Judaism, this is comprised of 1818 pieces. The tree is made of segmented rings, then carved to resemble bark. The base, table and top are segmented rings cut in half with straight pieces inserted to get the additional width. It stands about 5' high and is just over 2' at the base.
