tidal treasures in progress

This is my carving setup -- An Oneway chuck with an adaptor with steel rod welded in is held in a Veritas carving vise on my benchtop. Loosening the blue handle on the chuck allows the piece to be rotated, and the vise allows a full range of motion. After carving, the vessel is returned to the lathe and the tenon is removed.
