Nice basket illusion bowl! I like the pattern and colors. Did you do the woodburning on the rim by hand?

Hi Ethan, Thanks for the nice comments - it means a lot - especially coming from a fellow basket illusion artist!
Yes, I do burn the rim by hand. I use a small rounded skew to burn the majority of the pattern & a small micro skew for detailing. Also, just in case you are wondering, I use the specialty basket illusion tip to burn all the indexed lines on the basket section. All my burning tools are from PJL Enterprises - I've been very pleased with their products.

Thanks for the reply David. I will try to use those two skew tips on my next basket illusion. All of my basket illusion burning tools are from Chefware Kits including the EZ Basket Weave Kit I use.
