The Last Bowl

The Last Bowl

I went to a ladies house to help her sell some of her deceased husbands tools. We were going through some of the tools when we pulled out this blank. She told me that was the last bowl that he ever worked on. It was mounted, rounded, and a hole drilled in it ready to go. She always wanted a bowl of Birdseye Maple. She showed me some of the other things that he made in his lifetime, they were outstanding. He passed away over 5 years ago.

This is what I came up. Simple, and elegant.

I titled it "The Last Bowl"
