The Fruit of our Labor

This set of 3 Arbutus Burl Natural Edge bowls came from the storm damaged tree we recovered off the mountain last winter. We spent 3 1/2 days using a zip line to move the chunks out of the forest to our truck. I couldn't have hoped for a better chunk of burl to put on the lathe. The large bowl is 16.5" X 6.5" and then a 13" and 11" all are finished with Tung Oil. The fruits of our labor.
