Tea for the Woodsman

Tea for the Woodsman

For the Teapot exhibit in Hartford

9" x 9" x 6"H, cup is 3" x 4.5"
Cherry cup with texture and vine charcoal for the scorched bottom. Walnut textured lid, hole in the top to let out steam, also is used upside down to gather rain for the woodman's tea.Bluestone shingle is blackened underneath. Rocks are blackened on the insides. Twigs are burned.
Will include tea leaves inside for the show
Quite creative and artistic! The texturing (and presumably carving) is superb - giving a beautiful effect. When I first looked, I thought it was an abode of some sort.
