Sycamore and butterflies

I had turned a sycamore bowl that I wasn't too happy with but Penny (my other half) got to work with the piercing and pyrography tools and came up with this. The thin section is about 1.5 - 2mm thick and the 'loose' butterflies are made from embossed, pierced and painted parchment paper. The edge of the bowl is textured with the Dremel

The piece is 8" wide
