180 segments per row with 62 rows. Around 12.5" diameter and 9.5" high. Made with Maple, Bloodwood, Yellowheart, Chacka Viga, and Wenge. Took around 150 hours to make.
Beautiful !!! That is exquisite workmanship - and great form! Love the use of color as the swirling "feature ring" (sort of), and the way it is carried through the interior base. * * * * *
This is a perfect example of why you are the Maestro Tom! 180 segments per ring is fantastic, your continuing pattern that makes up the field/ background is a great add to the piece. Your splash of color on your spiralling feature ring is the perfect amount of pop! I love the form and the thin walled end result!! Well done Tom!
I’m going to say, what I would put in the waste basket beside my table saw you would go out and buy! This is incredible, those little pieces would drive me mad! And to be so precise. If is beautiful.
