Stonewall Jackson Prayer Tree - Gavel

This gavel is one I was asked to make for the Town of Grottoes, Virginia from the Stonewall Jackson Prayer tree which was in the area of Grottoes. It was a massive white oak that General Jackson and his troops held prayer meetings under during an encampment of their spring 1862 campaign.
