This is trumpet yelper (turkey call) laminated in 8-pointed star Eli Avisera style snakewood and Satinwood. It is 9" tall and about 1.5" in dia at the bell end and 0.5" dia. at the titanium ferrule.

Two hours after the owner of the call received it, he called up five gobblers and killed the largest one. This was in the mountains of Virginia, where a legal fall season on turkeys is currently open.
