Square_Edge_Bowl_with_Celtic_Motif

Square edge bowl with carved and gilded celtic motif on each wing. The bowl is 12" square x " 1/2"high x 3/16" and turned from Iroko.Critiques welcome.

Nice piece. I really like the carved motif. The beaded effect is quite striking.

Exceptional eye for detail ,After seeing this piece I went and brought a book today on Celtic design

Thank you Steve,Hal,Bob and Terry for your comments.Hal, the beaded effect was done with Jewelry concave cutters in a Dremel.Bob the gilding was done using gold acrylic ink.
