Spiral Hollow Form

Started out as what I thought would be a solid piece, but broke through due to hollowing out too thin. Decided to change my plan and save it, instead of throwing it on the burn pile.

It is about 9" tall and 5" wide. Used a Foredom for the initial carving and a micro motor for the final detailing. A number of files and rasps were used to cut down the sanding, still ended up with more sanding then what I was hoping for.
