Spalted maple hollow form

5”h x 6”ø

Lots going on in this piece of maple. It was slightly punky in a few spots, but a little Minwax wood hardener helped it sand evenly. Hollowed to 1/4” and finished with dewaxed shellac. Took a few days to get the finish dialed in, but time well spent IMO. I think this one will live on the mantle for a bit.
