Soft Maple Spherical Hollow Form

Once turned 'full log' soft Maple spherical hollow form with piths galore! Well, almost spherical. My first run at a pure spherical shape just by eye. Same tree as Soft Maple Hollow Form. I'm wondering if there is too much going on with the wood? Thoughts? I still like it and have more in line. Ambrosia Maple 8"x 8" finished with linseed oil and beeswax.
