This was inspired by the recent architecture of many beautiful modern highrise buildings. As a prototype it will been intriguing to develop this.
This piece was first turned as a cylinder, drilled down its center for through-bolting, then sliced like salami into forty slices, then all held together by a through-bolting between ends, then turned on two axes to give two twisted curved surfaces, then dyed. Thererafter the slices can be rotated in many different ways giving rise to a wide number of structural possibilities.
Eighteen inches high.
