These are a fun and interesting way to use small scraps. They are fun to do and are a great tool control and skill building exercise. they are made fro various types of wood from my oh my goodness I goofed again pile. They range from 6" to 4.5" in length and about 1/8" in diameter on the shaft.

great way of showcasing some different timbers & getting a bit of scew practice, nice job Nic

Peter, Thanks forthe review. I use my D-Way 3/4" skew for the ruff part. down to about 3/16" then I use my D-Way 3/8" Bowl gougeto take the shaft down to about 1/8" or less. I use it like a scraper. I seem to have better control with that. I am trying to get better wit my skew. you are correct it is a great skill building exercise.
