Serial 22034-37 Black Cherry Bark edge Bowls

The 4 bowls were made from the lower trunk of a 6 inch diameter black cherry cut down live but still dormant at the beginning of March and completed on March 27th. The bowls range from 5 to 7 inch wide X 3" high with a wall thickness of about 1/6th inch or 1.5MM and are finished with sprayed on brushing lacquer. The bowls were turned once, allowed to dry without any sealing or bagging and were ready for a light sanding and finishing after about 3 days.
