Maple, power carved and painted,, 4.5"d x 2.75"h

I created this piece over the weekend while attending a workshop by Graeme Priddle and Melissa Engler. I signed up for the class expecting to pick up some texturing techniques for the vessels I've been turning, but got swept away by the creativity of these two wonderful artists. I look forward to discovering where this journey takes me.
