Ring Box #1
Tom Gall

Ring Box #1

Made for Bucks Woodturners “Pollyanna” Exchange in 2013.
Curly Maple – approx. 2½”Ø x 2¾”h. - with pyro texture.

A demo by Neil Turner (Australia) at the Bucks club in 2013 was the inspiration for this box. Neil just calls this a box, but I thought it would be perfect for holding rings. The tip of the ring stem is what holds the lid in place and protrudes enough through the lid to continue the exterior design.
