Red Oak Lamp Assembled

This lamp was developed as a use for modified goblet forms that I had featured in a thread questioning how to calculate the ark for the band. The problem was solved by one of the replies that connected me to a site that only required that I enter the 2 diameters and the width of the band. The various pieces are assembled with threaded joints using machine cut threads. The majority of the parts are red oak except the shade caps are white oak burl, the tubes holding the shades are american hornbeam and the bands on the shades are cut from walnut veneer.
